The Best-Selling Mirrorless Cameras for June 2013

The Best-Selling Mirrorless Cameras for June 2013

For the month of June, we see a surprise entry at the top of the list: the DSC-RX100MII, a brand new release from Sony which takes the old RX100 and heaps on plenty of new features including Wi-Fi capabilities, a sensor with 40% extra sensitivity compared to its predecessor, a multiple interface shoe, and a tiltable LCD screen. We can definitely see this camera being a hit amongst general consumers!

In second place, we see the Panasonic DMC-G5, which, since the release of the new G6, has seen a price reduction of around $200 – a great deal for a camera packed with loads of cool features, including AVCHD Full HD recording, a free-angle touch LCD, LightSpeed autofocus, and loads of original creative filters.

In third place comes the ever-popular Sony NEX-6. This little camera has been around for a while, but it has never fallen out of favor. It comes with a 16MP APS-C CMOS sensor, 10 fps shooting, full HD video recording, fast hybrid AF, and Wi-Fi capabilities. For under $1000, this camera is a great deal especially for those who enjoy dabbling in both photography and video-making.
