This week, we jump from Northern Italy to the far west of Canada, where John McKay took this beautiful shot at the Italian Gardens at Hatley Castle in Colwood, British Columbia.

‘Mirrorless Monday’ with Paolo Callieri

Welcome back to another edition of Mirrorless Monday! This week, we are featuring photography enthusiast Paolo Callieri of Turin, Italy. He has shared two shots with us, both taken with his faithful Olympus E-PL1, the third model in the Micro Four Third PEN series.

About his experience with the E-PL1, Paolo states:

I’ve been using the E-PL1 since 2011 and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I love this camera for its ease of use, the possibility to change lenses, and the built-in flash. You can take pictures in automatic mode, aperture priority, shutter priority or manual. There are internal filters such as sepia, pop, soft focus and so on, allowing you to give an artistic flavour to your photos.

Mirrorless fans, listen up!

Since we love seeing and sharing beautiful photos taken with mirrorless cameras, we’ve decided to start up “Mirrorless Monday,” a day when you, the readers, share your photos and the stories behind them. All you have to do is pick a photo you’ve taken with a mirrorless camera, write up a short (or long!) blurb about it, and send it to us at: mirrorlessons@gmail.com. We’ll choose a handful of photos every week to share on our website. (Of course, if you have a website/blog/Flickr page you’d like us to link to, feel free to send us the link as well.)
