Whereas the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5KK took first place in the month of April, May has seen the rise in popularity of the NEX-6L/B, the best-selling mirrorless camera of the month. This sleek camera from Sony has a 16.1MP APS-C sensor, 10 fps shooting, and a fast hybrid AF with phase-detection. Though I’ve never used the NEX-6, I thoroughly enjoyed testing out its predecessor, the NEX-5 (see full review here), so this is definitely a camera I’d like to get my hands on someday.

It appears that the month of April wasn’t too different from the month of March in terms of the mirrorless camera popularity contest.
